In 2017, diabetes related deaths in Malaysia reached over 3% of the total deaths.

There were over 3.4 million cases of diabetes in Malaysia in 2017.

One in five Malaysian adults has diabetes.

The World Health Organization is expecting there to be 807,000 people in Malaysia with diabetes by the year 2025.
